Is government registered. The decision of the Crimean regional Executive Committee from 20.02.1990. Built in 1902 - 1903 years.

Suffering from throat cancer, V. I. Berezin went for treatment in Paris, where after an unsuccessful operation, died on 2 August 1900. Olga Solovyova, V. I. Berezin wife brought his ashes in the "Suuk-su.

In memory of the deceased wife Solovyov decided to put the ashes of deceased Church.

Her desire in 1901 on the project of this building was a competition, which was held at the Academy of arts in St. Petersburg and attracted the attention of famous St. Petersburg architects. 17 issue of the journal "Zodchiy" for 1902 we read that "on 12 June the contest of the Church in the "Suuk-su" over the grave of V. I. Berezin received 17 projects" (2: Architect; 208).

Second prize, 300 roubles, was awarded to V. A. Pokrovskogo (the motto of the black triangle).

The work looked solid, impressive and professionally – in the best traditions of Russian Church architecture.

The appearance of the temple on the composition solution was close to the project, 1st place ( G. A. Stocks, A. I. Podberesky, E. D., Andreoletti).

Third prize – 200 rubles handed over to the architects G. A. Kosyakova, A. I. Podberscek, E. D., Andreoletti (motto "B").

The first and third prizes were awarded to the same group of architects.

In its second option they suggested to build a pentagonal version of the Church of the temple, solved in the old Russian style.

Solovyov acquired all the announcement of its contest drawings. first and foremost, work deserving of the award.

It so happened that none of the competition projects were not implemented. Financial difficulties have not given the owner of the "Suuk-su" the opportunity to carry out large-scale construction of the tomb. (Vladimir Lenin bequeathed to Olga Mikhailovna and their daughter Xenia as about 10 million rubles, as part of the capital (securities), he wrote to the Ministry of Railways for the establishment of a student scholarship "Engineer V. I. Berezin).

In 1902 Solovyov appealed to the Crimean architects with a request to create the design of a small crypt. In April of 1902 by architects Oskalom the E. by Wegener and Nikolai Petrovich Krasnov was executed drawings of the crypt.

The architectural style of the mausoleum, designed by O. E. Wegener, captivating simplicity of his composition. Olga rejected the work of Wegener, preferring project N. P. Krasnov who designed and built for the resort "Suuk-su" resort and several other buildings.

Concise project Krasnova attracts the attention of paying expressive figure of an angel, trampling the cross.

When comparing this Krassovskogo of the project with the existing it is evident that the architect brought to life a completely different project. Where it is stored is unknown.

In the end, the funerary monument the owner of the Suuk-su embodies a symbiosis projects Wegener and Krasnov.

The appearance of the tomb is striking in its intensity and concise solution to the mourning theme. Entrance is made in the form of shallow niches framed by the arch on top of a massive cross-section resting on two supports-columns, as if under the weight of the arch departed to a good half in the ground.

The second wall has a trapezoidal entrance aperture to the entrance door, above which is carved an ornament of an inverted ionic capitals.

The Central space of the tomb – memorial hall – resolved succinctly. At the entrance on the floor level is located an oblong niche – a place for burial of the dead.

Over the alcove before entering the Central part of the front wall busy mosaic, made of small tesserae (presumably disciples of the Italian master, Salvatti, the author of many mosaic works and churches of the South coast in those years). On the panels depicted saints Vladimir and Olga (Berezin's name was Vladimir, his wife Olga).

Left and right are niches – places for burial of close relatives of the family Beresina. The niche was closed with a slab of marble with brass ring handles on the sides.

Over the chapel-crypt was a marble sculpture of a guardian angel, who had disappeared.

During the civil war, the marauders opened the vault and robbing the burial, was thrown from the remains of the Berezina. Local residents re-interred in a common grave (location unknown). In 1997, thanks to the Director General of MDTs "Artek" M. M. Sidorenko, the crypt was partially restored.

13 Sep 1997 in honor of the 100th anniversary of land acquisition "Suuk-su" family Beresina, the crypt was consecrated headed the Sevastopol district, father George.

The ceremony was attended by the grandchildren of the founder of the resort "Suuk-su" George Naumovich Solovyov, living in Salzburg (Austria), Galina M. Berezina, residing in Minsk (Belarus), and the granddaughter of Fyodor Chaliapin, Lydia Liberati living in Rome (Italy).

So the history of the tomb of the famous Russian engineer V. I. Berezina became a history of unrealized projects.

Perhaps, over time, the temple Church, which so creatively created by the participants of the competition over 100 years ago. The construction of the "Suuk-su" lasted 3 years ( from 1900 – 1903), but the resort has become to receive guests using the cottages, built V. I. Berezin in 1898 – 1900.
