Rotunda

In Italian the word "Rotonda" means "round". The rotunda is a circular architectural building with columns. Built in 30-ies of the XIX century. The rotunda is made of concrete, the circumference of 22 meters, height of 4.3 meters. The author of the project is unknown. (the hostel staff of "Artek")

 

    The drinking water fountain

Built in 30-ies of the XIX century. The author of the project is unknown. The fountain was built in Tatar style of Sandstone. Height 2.3 meters, width 2.2 meters. (the hostel staff of "Artek")

In the prewar years (until 1941) the fountain operated. In the years of occupation "Artek" (1941-1944) the water supply was destroyed and never restored.

Ladder built in 30–ies of the XIX century. The author of the project is unknown.

Two flights of the upper marsh with a width of 2 meters at 10 degrees. Material – hewn limestone and Sandstone.

Two middle of the stairs with a width of 3.2 meters 15 and 16 steps. Rails - they are 27 stone balls. At the bottom of the stair facade of the ensemble has a trapezoidal shape with a length of 6 meters, thickness of 0.5 meters, height of 1.9 meters. The bottom two stairs with a width of 2 meters on 6 stages.

Potemkin left behind a beautiful Park, which is not only beautiful in itself, the Keeper of the culture of the peoples of Russia.

Currently, the observation deck offers a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains.

In the 50 years of the twentieth century, the gazebo was dismantled.
