House

Time of construction is unknown. The author of the project is unknown.

The house is built of rubble stone, length 16 meters, width 15 meters, height of 9.5 meters.

At the main entrance, on both sides, there were 2 white pieces of marble lions (was removed in the 30-ies of XX century).

In this building were:

  • until 1860 he lived N.. Have gartvis ;
  • from 1860 to 1920 were living heirs Gartvis: B. Viner, E. I. Wiener (Metalnikova), S. I. metal'nikov ;
  • in the 20-ies of XX century, were the staff of "Artek";
  • from 1930 to 1936 was the all-Union house of rest for counselors;
  • from 1937 to 1941 there was a primary school "Artek";
  • since 1946, the camp for children "Artek";
  • since 1965, the Museum of Artek;
  • from 1966 to 2000 - kindergarten for employees ' children "Artek";
  • from 2001 to 2003 was a Wellness center "Veteran" for veterans of war and labor "Artek";
  • 2004-present - the hostel Kedr for teachers "Artek".

 

Fountain

A fountain (ital.) - architecturally designed source beating up or flowing water jets.

Built in 40-ies of the XIX century.The author of the project is unknown. The fountain is made in the form placed on the ground of the arch. The outer dimensions of the fountain (3 x 3M). internal (2.10 x 1.8 m).

The fountain is made of concrete, lined with breccia – marble tiles. At the bottom of the fountain is the base, on which stood a sculpture (what ? – Ed.)

Currently, the fountain does not work, because the stream is not valid. The outer dimensions of the fountain (3 x 3M). internal (2.10 x 1.8 m).

 

 

The main gazebo

The main type of Park architectural structures.

Walls and trim mimic natural cave.

Time of construction is unknown. The author of the project is unknown.

The main gazebo is made of limestone. Sandstone arch. The walls in the gazebo with a stone domed ceiling made of concrete (width of 2.65 m, the height of the highest point 2.40 m, depth 1.40 m).

Family vault
Nicholas A. von hartwiss

Built in 1855. The author of the project is unknown.

It was buried in 1855, the wife of N.. Gartvis: Elizabeth Feodorovna, née Baroness Rosen of Dorpat.

Above the tomb a chapel was built with white marble sculpture depicting a guardian angel.

During the civil war, the building was looted, the chapel destroyed.

In 1947, during excavation works in the Park was the statue of the guardian angel, which gave the Yalta branch of Union of artists of the USSR.
